Art-doll sculptures (2016 - current)
My unique art doll forms blend conservation and consumerism, aiming to highlight the fragility of the natural world with the reality of its demise through hybrid surrealism.
Gothic Creatures & Curios (2023 - current)
Resuming as a fulltime artist in early 2023, I jumped on the opportunity to open a gothic themed retail stall, and then increasing my art into the world of Oddities and Curiosities. Funny enough, it was my collecting hobby as a child!
Gothic & AI digital art (2023 - current)
I am not distressed by AI, it is a creative tool for me to experiment and expand into new areas. My surreal creatures and fairies aim to celebrate and protect the beautiful wild things hidden around us everyday – bringing nature into our homes.
Beaded Jewelry & Macrame (2006 - current)
I commenced designing jewelry for the ArTTable in 2006 and found with my sculptural experience that jewelry with wire, macrame, using quality glass beads and gemstones came naturally to me. My organic style so evident throughout all my working mediums also developed into a distinguishable feature in my jewelry designs.
I release new jewelry from time to time, do visit my shop!
Ball-joint-dolls (BJD) collection (2015-2020)
In 2015 I stumbled into the world of beautiful artist created ball joint dolls (bjd), firstly by discovering world acclaimed artist Marina Bychkova’s amazing Enchanted Dolls and then after acquiring one, began my creative journey in creating clothes and accessories for them. I have since grown my collection and began to create my own unique doll furniture and accessories.
Glass Mosaics & Murals (2002 - 2010)
Sculpture has brought me so much joy as I experiment with tactile materials, adornments and fossicking to re-purpose found objects.
Fantasy Dreams Bedheads (1995 – 2008)
My first global foray as an artist! Moving beyond local markets, I made and sold wonderfully eclectic fantasy bedheads around the world.
Rural settlers cottage renovation (2020 - current)
Blue Mist Rise - a beautiful mini acreage in Gippsland with a 150 year old farm settlers cottage. A lot of work and a vision to retire.
Mid-century modern renovation (2011 - 2020)
After renovating for 7 years, we have restored, expanded, polished, refurbished and modernised our little Mid-century modern home.
The original home was built in 1959 and we were fortunate to meet the original owner who provided us a lot of details of the original. It had been rented out for nearly 20 years before our arrival in 2011 and fortunately the original bones remained. With beautiful views over Mt Dandenong, lots of timber and plenty of Mist .. it is our little delight!
